Is Convesio the best WordPress hosting?

Convesio is an innovative PaaS (platform-as-a-service) that provides agencies and businesses with the ability to host scalable WordPress websites without any of the complications typically found in conventional cloud providers.

Convesio’s self-healing, autoscaling features ensure your site remains up 24/7 while also automatically scaling it when you need more power or bandwidth!

Most design firms do not have access to the latest technology and modern hosting, making it difficult to find scalable and efficient web hosting.

Cloud infrastructures are expensive, complex and out of reach for most firms.

To solve these problems, hosting had to be rethought from the ground up and the latest technologies, infrastructure, and development methods had to be applied.

The result is a multi-tier system architecture in which there are no single points of failure at any stage of the process.

According to my research, Convesio’s websites outperform most traditional hosting providers in terms of customer satisfaction.

They simplify complex hosting procedures and provide a highly available, secure, and scalable platform for client websites while streamlining agency workflows.

What is managed WordPress hosting?

When it comes to hosting your WordPress website, you have two main options: managed WordPress hosting and shared web hosting. So, what’s the difference?

Managed WordPress hosting is a premium service that provides customers with a high level of support and security.

Shared web hosting is more basic and often doesn’t include access to certain features, such as automatic backups or security updates.

In addition, managed WordPress hosting is often more expensive than regular web hosting. However, for businesses that rely on their website to generate leads or sales, the extra cost is often worth it.

After all, a managed WordPress host can provide peace of mind and allow you to focus on running your business, rather than worrying about your website.

If you’re looking for a WordPress hosting solution that is both scalable and high-performance, then Convesio might be the perfect option.

Seamless auto-scaling

With true auto-scaling, your website will always be able to handle increased traffic without any issues.

Other scalable WordPress hosting providers usually require you to manually scale your servers up and down which can cause server downtime.

Convesio however is a web hosting service that offers scalable WordPress sites which can scale automatically and without any downtime.

Convesio’s WordPress hosting is resilient by design, so you can be sure that your site will stay up and running even in the most challenging circumstances.

Plus, Convesio’s managed WordPress hosting is incredibly fast, so your visitors will always have a great experience.

And perhaps best of all, it requires no sysadmin skills to use, so you can save time and money.

Pay-for-what-you-use pricing

This means that you only ever pay for the resources you use, making Convesio an extremely cost-effective option compared to other WordPress hosting services which usually charge a yearly or at least monthly fixed fee.

Enterprise WordPress hosting

WordPress is the most popular site-building and content management system in the world. However, for businesses that require enterprise-level hosting, the options have traditionally been complicated, pricey, and required a lot of maintenance.

Convesio is changing that with its innovative platform which is built for scalability, speed, and redundancy.

Convesio claims to be the first WordPress hosting provider offering true auto-scaling and self-healing, without any single points of failure.

This makes it an ideal solution for businesses of all sizes, from personal blogs to traffic-heavy eCommerce sites.

In addition, Convesio is proactively scanning for malware and patching vulnerabilities to keep your site safe and secure.

And because speed is essential for a good user experience, Convesio makes sure that all sites have the highest possible page load speeds.

Last but not least – Convesio’s pricing model is very competitive and offers great value for money.

WooCommerce hosting

As any online retailer knows, website crashes during high-traffic periods can result in lost sales and unhappy customers.

Convesio is a WooCommerce-optimized hosting platform that is built to handle high traffic and transaction volumes without crashing.

This means that your store will always be fast and responsive, even during spikes in traffic.

And because Convesio is a pay-as-you-use service, you only need to pay for the resources you use – making it an affordable option for businesses of all sizes.

So if you’re looking for a hosting platform that can keep your WooCommerce store up and running during peak periods, Convesio is worth considering.

Managed WordPress hosting for startups

Convesio is a good web hosting solution for startups because it has a Docker-based solution, it can auto-scale, it has high performance (Google Cloud), and it is easy to manage WordPress websites. Plus, Convesio offers 24/7 support and prices start at 50 USD per month.

Now that we have explored the details of Convesio’s platform, let’s have a closer look at what services they offer.

For larger businesses, Convesio offers plans up to $2400 per month.

How to create a website on Convesio

To give you a better understanding of what the platform looks like and how it works, I will now walk you through the steps required to create a website on Convesio’s platform.

1. Sign up for a free trial

Convesio currently offers a 30-day free trial which I think is pretty generous compared to most other web hosting companies.

To sign up for it, all you need to do is head over to their homepage and click on ‘sign up for a free trial’ at the top of the page.

Then you will be asked for your full name, your company’s name, your work email, and a password. That’s it – no credit card required.

Once you hit the sign-up button you will be re-directed to a page where you will be asked to verify your email address.

After I have verified my email address, I was told that my account is pending approval and that this process might take about an hour.

After no more than ten minutes I already received another email telling me that my account had been approved and was ready to go.

2. Create your first site

So now you can head over to Convesio again and sign in. After that, you will see your dashboard with a button in the middle saying “Create your first site”. Click it to proceed.

To create a new WordPress instance, you first have to select a container type. I chose the option “Business L2” and as the server location, I went for the United States. Alternatively, you could also pick Australia or Europe as the server location.

Now, click ‘Deploy’ to install your WordPress instance. In a pop-up, you can watch the process of the creation. In my case, it took 37 seconds to complete.

I recommend you copy your login credentials to a secure note. Or, you could just click on the application URL and log in directly.

Either way, click the ‘Close Job Console’ button to proceed.

Your WordPress installation is now displayed on your dashboard.

3. Build your website

You can now log in to your site by entering your staging URL followed by /wp-admin and entering the login credentials you noted down before.

Once logged in to your WordPress application you can start customizing it and building out your website.

If you are happy with everything and want to take your website live, you can easily add your domain under the ‘Domains’ tab and a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate under the ‘Security’ tab.

Just note that you will have to pick a paid plan before your site can go live under your custom domain.

Speed test

I did a quick GTMetrix speed test for my staging URL to get a first impression of Convesio’s load speed. For this test, I simply used the default WordPress installation which does not have a lot of content on it – but still, the numbers look very promising.

How to set up auto-scaling

One feature that makes Convesio truly stand out from its competition is auto-scaling. While other web hosts might allow you to scale up and down as well, this usually has to be done manually and involves downtime for your site.

Convesio on the other hand offers automatic and seamless scaling without any downtime. So depending on your website’s load, they will just add or remove containers in your cluster.

And of course, they let you set a minimum and a maximum number of containers, between which Convesio will then automatically scale your site up and down depending on your traffic load.

If you want to enable auto-scaling, all you have to do is head over to the ‘Settings’ tab, select ‘Auto Scaling’ in the menu on the right and then turn the switch from ‘Disabled’ to ‘Enabled’.

Now, by clicking on one of the container links, you can adjust the range as needed.

Furthermore, you can click on ‘Advanced Options’ underneath the table and specify certain metrics and triggers. Now, whenever any of those custom settings are met, Convesio will scale your site up or down accordingly.

So, if you are looking for a managed WordPress hosting provider that can handle lots of traffic, Convesio is definitely a hosting company to consider. They offer a 30 days free trial so you can test out their services before making a commitment and they have a wide range of plans to choose from depending on your needs. Start your website off on the right foot by choosing one of the best WordPress hosting – Convesio.
